I was feeling kinda seasick
but the crowd called out for more
The room was humming harder
as the ceiling flew away
When we called out for another drink
the waiter brought a tray

英. Progressive Rock 밴드 Procol Harum...
1946년 3월 7일 프로콜 하럼의 오르간 주자인 매튜 피셔가 태어났다.
''Whiter Shade Of Pale''이라는 불후의 명곡을 내놓은 프로그레시브 록 밴드 프로콜 하럼은
원래 스튜디오 뮤지션들로 우연찮게 결성된 밴드였다.
클래식과 블루스 록 리프를 혼합해낸 이들의 음악은 보컬과 피아노를 맡은
게리 브루커(Gary Brooker)와 가사를 전담한 키스 레이드(Keith Reid)가 도맡았고
프로그레시브 록 밴드로는 유례가 없을 정도로 커다란 상업적 성공을 거두었다.
영국 출신인 게리 브루커(1945. 5. 29)는 14세 때
동갑내기 기타리스트 로빈 트라우어(Robin Trower, 1945. 5. 9)
그리고 몇몇 멤버들과 함께 파라마운츠(Paramounts)라는 밴드를 결성,
레이블에서 싱글을 발매하기도 하지만 1966년 해산한다.
